HSBC Business Case Competition’s Organising Team is launching Education for All – a platform designed to help underprivileged children access educational support. In partnership with SCDI, we aim to provide children with tutoring sessions, extracurricular activities, and skills training to help improve their learning outcomes, build financial literacy and essential skills.
Through this initiative, you – together with the wider university student community – can help break the cycle of poverty and contribute to community development.
Who we’re helping: 255 underprivileged children (aged 6–17) in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi, living in temporary housing and slums. Many are affected by poverty, migration, HIV, drug use, or informal labour within their families.
Who we’re looking for: HSBC BCC participants (not limited to any round) and university students in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi who are passionate about community development.
How you can support: Join us as volunteer in one of the following roles:
Tutoring details:
- Schedule: 1 session per week (based on children’s needs and your availability)
- Delivery: Hybrid
- Offline: Assigned community centres or children’s houses
- Online: via Zoom platform
Online briefing session:
After registering, please join our Briefing Session, where we’ll walk you through Education for All and answer any questions you have.
- Time: 14:00 – 15:00, 26/08/2026
Meet & Greet events:
We will organise Meet & Greet events in Hanoi and HCMC, where you can learn more about your role and meet the children you’ll be supporting. Event agenda will be shared to your registration email soon.
